DIANA L. WALTERS
Coming from a medical background, in the sense that she had become a patient at the age of twelve years old, Diana L. Walters has extensive experience with healtcare related matters - biomedical and integrative and complementary medicine alike.  Her expertise extends not only from academic studies in Community Studies (BA) and Integrative Health Studies (MA) and non-academic studies of a range of bodywork therapies, including massage therapy, CranioSacral Therapy, Cortical Field Re-education, biofeedback and the Feldenkrais Method, but also life experience. 


BIO: - About Diana L Walters

In 2001, Diana L Walters completed her BA in Community Studies, from the University of California, Santa Cruz.   The emphasis of  her degree was in women's health, focusing on the comparison  between physical therapy and the Feldenkrais Method.  During this time, Diana also obtained her certification in Cortical Field Re-education(registered), under the tutlage of Harriet Goslins.
Initiating her studies in CranioSacral therapy in 2002, through the Upledger Institute, which she continues, she also became certified in 2002  and 2003 in massage therapy, from the McKinnon Institute, Oakland, CA, and in biofeedback through the Biofeedback Society of California. 
In 2007, Diana completed her MA in Integrative Health Studies from California institute of Integral Studies, San Francisco CA.  She currently practices in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Working with clientelle from children to adults, with a range of healthcare problems from general distress to recovery from brain injury, Diana uses the array of mind body and holistic therapeutic modalities in which she has studied and trained extensively, and aids her clients in finding the road to a state of well-being. 

Often the path found by her clients leads to some form of increased sense of  communication and collaboration skills.  Diana helps her clients find their preferred method of obtaining well-being, whether it be through acceptance or assertion.
